Sometimes... And Always in a Dream

Synopsis

Selling is selling, as Jim Ellison, an aging carpet salesman, knows very well.
Moving laboriously through an endless night, from one unlikely client to the next he desperately seeks to do just that.

Sometimes... And Always in a Dream is a truly American story dealing with the conflicts of personal success against the tapestry of the American dream.

Production Information

Sometimes... And Always and a Dream was produced as part of the 3Films 3Visions project. A project conceived to shoot 3 short films on film in 9 production days.  It became a bold and ambitious undertaking, combing the efforts of many talented individuals and the remarkable support of the local community.

The 3 films would share the same crew, ALL technical and financial resources, and leverage the creative talents of the directors and producers.

Sometimes… And Always in a Dream was the last film to be shot during the 9 days of production. The momentum of the larger project pushed this complicated film to its completion.

The Super 16 Camera Negative was mastered on HD at Victory Studios in Seattle utilizing the various professional services of this unique post-production facility. Their considerable donation and commitment to the project has allowed each film to be as strong as they can be.
